1. About BotChap

BotChap is a SaaS chatbot widget builder operated by Otonomi Technologies and Consulting FZCO, a company registered in the Dubai Silicon Oasis Free Zone, Dubai, UAE ("Otonomi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using BotChap, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").

2. The Service

BotChap allows you to create, configure, and embed AI-powered chat widgets on your websites or applications. Features available to you depend on your active subscription plan. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use BotChap. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

BotChap offers paid subscription plans billed on a monthly or annual basis. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. All prices are exclusive of VAT and applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location. Payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Otonomi Technologies and Consulting FZCO.

5. Refund Policy

All subscription payments are non-refundable. If the service is functioning as described on our website and in the plan documentation at the time of purchase, no refund will be issued. This applies to monthly and annual subscriptions alike. If you believe there is a technical fault or the service is materially not as described, please contact us at support@otonomi.co and we will investigate in good faith.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not charge cancellation fees.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BotChap to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content through your widgets
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the BotChap platform
  • Resell or sublicense access to BotChap without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.

8. Intellectual Property

BotChap and all associated content, branding, and software remain the property of Otonomi Technologies and Consulting FZCO. Your data and content uploaded to BotChap remain yours. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to process and display your content solely to deliver the service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Otonomi Technologies and Consulting FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from your use of BotChap. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Privacy

Your use of BotChap is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of BotChap after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
